Reiki is one of the most popular healing methods, practiced by 5 million people all over the world. "Reiki Japan" is a brand-new music project born in Japan, where Reiki is originally from.

Nobuo Uematsu has always been interested in healing music. Nobuo drew inspiration from the Reiki healing session and attunement led by Toshi, and the album's concept came out of that.

You might think of healing music as something boring you can listen to when you are tired; however, you will be pleasantly surprised by the uniqueness of Nobuo's healing music.

His dramatic, beautiful melodies will help you experience deep relaxation and profound peace, just as the Final Fantasy's sophisticated BGM does.

Best suited for Reiki attunement sessions and other daily activities, "Reiki Japan" will invite you to the world of imagination.

The album consists of four tracks. Nobuo created each song based upon the inspiration he gained from the Reiki symbols. (Symbols and mantras are used during Reiki healing.)

If you have already studied Reiki, you can enjoy the music even more deeply while reciting the Reiki mantras and picturing the Reiki symbols to yourself. (The Reiki symbols and mantras are given to Reiki healers.)

what's reiki

Mikao_Usui
Dr. Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki

Reiki is one of the most popular healing and self-improvement techniques, practiced by approximately 5 million people worldwide.

Although Reiki was born in Japan, it is more widely accepted overseas. There are Reiki practitioners in Asia, Europe, North America, and other regions of the world. Almost 3,000 books on Reiki have been published. Reiki can be also found in the encyclopedia in the English language.

Reiki was born in the early 20th century.

Mikao Usui (August 15- March 9, 1926), while fasting for 21 days on the sacred mountain, Mount Kurama in Kyoto, received significant healing power and enlightenment.

Upon his return home, using his hands and the Reiki power, Dr. Usui was able to heal his family and himself immediately and miraculously.

He began to teach and practice Reiki throughout Japan, influencing over one million people during the prewar period when "hands on healing" was at its peak.
